Kuang Yingzi's relationship with her husband Tang Dezhi had deteriorated rapidly. She was in love with Li Zhongsheng instead. One day when she returned home she was angry to see that her sister Meizi was having a sex party with a gang of playboys. She asked them to leave and taught her sister a lesson.

Yingzi returned to her bedroom but found that Peter Lu was having a bath in the washroom. She asked him to leave immediately but it was raining heavily outside. Meizi, a secret admirer of Peter, asked him to stay until the rain stopped. Meanwhile, she was talking about sex with Peter in the living room. Yingzi stopped them and urged Peter to leave immediately after the rain. Yingzi was extremely worried that her sister would mix with the playboys and hosted another birthday party for her. But Meizi did not appreciate and found it extremely boring. Meanwhile, Tang appeared suddenly and Yingzi proposed to divorce him but he refused and threatened her. Having seen their arguments Meizi was sympathetic with her sister but Peter had a dirty trick in mind.

After the party Yingzi was drinking alone and soon got drunk. Meizi seized the opportunity to join another party hosted by a friend Zhenzhen. Paul was a secret admirer of Meizi and was jealous of Peter, who frequently dated Meizi. He went to invite Meizi to dance with him. Meanwhile, Peter sneaked out of the party and returned to the Kuang's residence, where he forced intentions on Yingzi. Meizi tried her best to be the matchmaker for her sister and Li, which led to resentment from Peter. He insisted that Yingzi was his but Yingzi refused firmly. Peter pledged that he would not let Yingzi go. Peter's night visit to the Kuang's residence was made known to Zhenzhen and Paul. While both of them thought Peter had an affair with Meizi, Paul even wanted to follow suit. Meizi did not know what Peter had done to her sister but explicitly told him how much she had loved him. When Peter gave her a cold shoulder Meizi was heartbroken.

To avenge on Peter's coldness Meizi invited Paul, Li and her sister to spend some time on a deserted island nearby. When Paul and Meizi walked to a dark corner he tried to harass Meizi but Meizi managed to escape and swam home. Seeing Peter's boat on the beach Meizi knew why Peter had rejected her. She rushed to her sister's bedroom where she found Yingzi pleading to Li to stay. Peter then appeared and insulted Yingzi. Yingzi cried and said she was forced upon and had never loved him. Outrageous at his deeds Li fought with Peter, but Peter killed Yingzi with the anchor by mistake. He dashed out of the scene but was knocked down by a car and died. Meizi was grief-stricken and decided to leave Hong Kong. Li went to see her off and both of them could never forget the tragedy which cost Yingzi's life.
